Gatefold cover is in good condition, no tears but there is a short seam split on the bottom of the left side of the gatefold. No handwriting on the cover. Very light handling wear to the edges but there is an overall "tiredness" to the front and rear of the gatefold cover, years of being inserted and taken out of the record library. Gatefold is orientated so that when the front cover is viewed correctly, the records insert into the cover from the top and not the sides as is more normal.
New inner plastic liner sleeves along with the original sleeves.
The original sleeves are supplied for historical reasons. These are printed both sides with material promoting a Warner/Reprise records concept of "Loss Leaders" - records released as "samplers" with some great artists on them e.g Mothers Of Invention, The Pentangle, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young and many many more - these Loss Leaders were retailing for US$2 at the time. Just interesting, that's all - this double album from Seals And Crofts is not one of those Loss Leaders
Vinyl media is in good - very good condition, inspected visually both records and both sides have a couple of light scratches only. I then played the entire album - what a great play! Just some very low level surface noise at times, the odd click/pop but none are significant. Very good listen.
