Carl Jefferson (1920 – 29 March 1995) was an American jazz record producer, and the founder of Concord Records, which he ran from 1972 until his death in 1995. A successful used car dealer, in 1969 he organized the Concord Summer Festival which in a few years became the Concord Jazz Festival. A great fan of swinging mainstream jazz, Jefferson started the Concord label in 1972 because so few of the artists who he enjoyed were being recorded.

Heavy cardboard gatefold cover is in very good condition - no writing no marks. The heavyweight cardboard is important as this makes shipping more expensive than a "standard" 12" vinyl, even more than a 180g
Very light partial vinyl ring showing on the inside of the gatefold, one side only.
Original inner plastic sleeves - these are actually overprinted sleeves, made in Canada for Concord Jazz
Vinyl is in very good - excellent condition, inspected under a white halogen light source and I can see NO marks/scratches. I then played both records, as expected these are a beautiful playback
