The Byrds were an American country/folk/psychedelic rock band founded in Los Angeles in 1964 and disbanded in 1973.
The band underwent several line-up changes with frontman Roger McGuinn remaining the only constant member.
This album is a compilation of interpretations of Bob Dylan songs, which the Byrds recorded at different stages of their career, either as cover singles or on their albums during the period 1965 - 1970.
A reissue (modified) was also made on CD much later, in 2002
The rear cover lists all of The Byrds members at the time of each song being recorded, the album it was released on and the date that album was released.

Cover is in good condition, no tears but there is a spine "wear" which has resulted in a small split. Edges are fine, normal handling wear. Some marks on the front cover (wear) in the bottom centre area - I suspect a label was once there and removed. Its tough to keep these covers pristine because of the matt card used, they show every little mark and do not suffer the ravages of time too well.
Someone has made some writing in pencil on the record label - I have not attempted to remove this.
New inner plastic sleeve is supplied
Vinyl is in very good - good condition, inspected under a white halogen light source I can see a couple of very light - light scratches/scuff marks on each side but particularly on Side A. Two fairly long scratches from the lead-in and across the first 3 tracks concerned me. I then played both sides, playback is overall very good but those two long (but light) scratches on Side A DO cause a low level click through those tracks. Its not annoying (for me) but it is noticeable. The remaining Side A all of Side B are fine and there are no significant issues with surface noise.
