When you are sick of the "same old" pop, rock, blues, jazz, punk music put on a piece of wonderful music such as this album!
No more highly compressed music, a dynamic range which is wide wide wide and this music "talks" to you, close your eyes and you can see the ballerinas in Swan Lake for example.
Even if you are not so much into classical music, this type of music is a great testing ground for your highly prized sound system - wide frequency range, wide dynamic range with a nice wide "stage" - not like many contemporary recordings which sound as though they were recorded inside a shoe box!
Turn it up LOUD (but watch out for the explosion of the percussion and horn sections!)
Performing orchestra is L Orchestre De La Suisse Romande (Swiss Symphony Orchestra) being conducted by Ernest Ansermet

UK release
Cover is in very good condition, no tears, no writing, no seam splits.
Supplied with the original high quality acid free, inner lined paper sleeve which was made in Britain (very clean)
Vinyl is in very good condition, visually inspected carefully using a white halogen light source I can see NO scratches or marks on each side. This is extremely important with a recording such as this one, you don't want the performance punctuated but lots of click/pop events!
I played the ENTIRE release and there are NO issues with surface noise or click/pops. I do not mean the vinyl is "perfect" and silent but it is very good and any low level "noises" that occur do not spoil the performances at all.
New outer plastic protective sleeve
