This album is based on a children's story but it is much much more than that ....
Side A is the story
Narrated by Paul Daneman (English film, television, and theatre actor), he introduces the recording by explaining that different instruments in the orchestra are symbolising various sounds and characters in the story, for example a clarinet represents The Cat.
Paul doesn't tell the story but instead it is told through the music with gentle guidance along the way from Paul - basically teaching the listener that music is a language in itself with the story being told through the instruments of the orchestra. A great introduction to how music can 'speak' to the listener, both young and not so young.
Side B is not a continuation of Peter And Wolf but a very nice piece of orchestral music composed by Mozart followed by The Toy Symphony which is attributed to Haydn.

Australian release but manufactured in Great Britain (England)
Cover is in very good condition, no writing, no seam splits, no tears with only light edge wear from normal handling BUT some light yellowing to the rear cover - looks to be "foxing" as occurs with old books, the paper tends to yellow and eventually go brown due the paper reacting with the environment.
New inner plastic liner sleeve
Vinyl record is in very good condition, visually inspected under a white halogen light source and I can see just a couple of very light marks or scratches on either side. Just looking at the vinyl often doesn't 'cut it' so I then played this album ENTIRELY, both sides completely, and there are no issues with surface noise or click/pops. Very listenable (and educational!)
New outer protective sleeve
