Alex Hood is a very accomplished Australian folk singer, recordist of traditional First Nations music, involved in Australian folklore theatre and also he is a very good children's entertainer, working the primary school circuit back in the 1970's, but he also keeps great company!
On this album he is supported by:
George Golla (well known Jazz guitarist)
Ed Gaston (well known Jazz bassist)
Mel Cunningham (well known Jazz flutist)
Gordon Bennett (Fiddle player)
Alex plays the Banjo & 12 string guitar

Australian release
Cover is in good (minus) condition, no seam splits, no personal writing and clean with only light edgewear from normal handling HOWEVER the rear of the cover shows up as a bit "dirty" which is not helped by the White background - just looks a bit "grubby"
New plastic inner sleeve
Vinyl is in good condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see just a couple of very light scratches on either side. Just looking at the vinyl is often not a very good way to judge the condition so I then played the ENTIRE album, every single track, and there are NO issues with surface noise nor clicks/pops - a truly entertaining album for the kids, very Australian songs and tales told by Alex!
New outer protective sleeve
