HEADS UP LOVERS OF THE VINYL SOUND (AND THAT NICE BIG JACKET)!
Storms storms and more storms, it's the Australian way of life and unfortunately accidents sometimes happen. Some of my vinyl collection copped it big time! I managed to scream around and save what I could and other albums were also partially saved. Imagine the scene with my plastic containers of vinyl records floating around in the storage units! Windsor NSW 2020 Oh what a year ...
HALF DRESSED or partially clothed means the outer jackets (covers) became damp on some albums, basically knackered the cardboard! But I retrieved the inner printed sleeve and the vinyl on a few albums before the dampness could seep through the outer cardboard cover.
This is one of those albums - it is 'half dressed' meaning the outer cover has gone to the 'big turntable in the sky' (actually it was pulped for recycling) but the inner sleeve and vinyl record remain on earth and in the condition described below ....
Sad as the cover of a record is half the fun but hey! the main thing is the music and that was saved
Please read the description CAREFULLY ...
While this album may not mean much to the younger generation, for many 'older' Australians "Barnsey" and the band Cold Chisel were (and still are) icons in the Australian music industry. Remember the day when you could see them at the pub for just a few bucks and have a mighty night?
This album will bring the memories flooding back, it is a REALLY GOOD compilation album of their many well known songs

Inner printed sleeve (lyrics and graphics) is in good condition and there is no paper ripples! DOES NOT SMELL FROM MILDEW! Clean with only very light wear, NO seam splits or tears. Although you can see a handwritten reference number on the sleeve front (ex station library copy)
New inner sleeve
Vinyl is in very good condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see just a couple of very light scratches near the run in on Side A and nothing on Side B. Very clean and NO STRANGE SMELLS! I then played the ENTIRE release, every single track, and there are no issues with surface noise and just a couple of VERY low level 'clicks' as the band is warming up with Bow River. The clicks are not of a long duration (about 4 in total) nor are they significant in level and then there are no more ...
