A rear blast from the past (1950's) featuring the infamous guitar luthier and musician, Les Paul along with his wife, Mary Ford. They became "The New Sound" of the early 1950's
I have had this record in my collection not just for musical reasons but Les Paul was a true innovator in the world of guitars and marched forever forward in a world of "doubters" - a real inspiration to any musician who feels no-one is listening to them and are entertaining thoughts of "giving up" - DON'T!
As a young boy, he was encouraged (forced) to undertake piano lessons - this was in the 1920's and my Mum did the same to me many years later!
His piano teacher was less than encouraging (remember those scales, scales, scales and more scales) ... she sent a note home to Les's mum which read ...
Dear Mrs. Polfos.
Your boy, Lester, will never learn music, so save your money.
Please don't send him for any more piano lessons.
Now that's what I call harsh!
Anyway, that didn't stop Les Paul and now he is a music industry legend in the world of guitars
Mary Ford is not forgotten, she was also a very talented musician/singer and if you watch the second video, this will give a deeper insight the love of Les's life - when Les speaks of Mary, it's a real "heart strings" puller!

Australian release
Cover is in good condition, no seam splits, no personal writing and clean with only light edge wear from normal handling. Side A label does have a very small area of "white out" applied to hide our studio ID mark.
New plastic inner sleeve
Vinyl is in good condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see just a couple of very light/light scratches or marks on either side. Just looking at your vinyl is not a good way to judge the condition so I then played the ENTIRE release, every single track both sides. There are no issues with surface noise nor clicks/pops - just plenty of Les playing his beautiful instrument(s). I might be biased but it's a funny thing ... each side seems to finish just when you want more more more ... I love this guy!
New outer protective sleeve
TRACKS: How High The Moon, Whispering, The Best Things In Life Are Free, Lover, Bye Bye Blues, Deep In The Blues, The World Is Waiting For The Sunrise, I Really Don't Want To Know, Walkin' And Whistlin' Blues, How Deep Is The Ocean (How High Is The Sky), I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles, Vaya Con Dios
