This copy is one of my DODGY vinyl's and its a nudie!
Love him or hate him, Dylan really knew how to sing a song and tell a story that could "move" you.
Very distinctive vocal style (which personally grates on me after a while of listening) which has been described by many many fellow artists in colourful and sometimes unflattering terms.
For example, Mitch Jayne of The Dillards has been quoted as saying that Dylan's vocal style was "very much like a dog with his leg caught in barbed wire.”
This vinyl is NOT in great shape but it is offered (basically for just the cost of the new sleeve and outer cover plus a bit of time) because who in their right mind would throw out classic Bob Dylan and bury him in the local rubbish tip?
Nude? No, Bob isn't IN the nude, the vinyl record is what I call "nude"
A Nude Record means exactly this ...
Vinyl record, exactly as described below
New inner plastic liner sleeve
New outer white cardboard sleeve (completely unmarked)
New outer protective sleeve
DODGY?
There is a medium scratch which looks nasty on Side 2, just after the run in grooves. It actually sounds much better than it looks, full details are below ...
Blonde On Blonde was released as a double record album - this is ONLY Record #2 NOT BOTH RECORDS!

Vinyl media is in good (minus) condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see a few light ~ medium marks/scratches and one nasty looking scratch on Side 2 just after the run-in area. I ran this up on my sturdy Thorens just to see how it sounded (with some trepidation) and was pleasantly surprised - this often happens with "old" vinyl, it is a lot tougher/harder than contemporary vinyl.
Yes the surface noise is elevated above "normal" but not unbearable and yes there are a few click/pop events but just gentle "clicks" and not horrible THUMPS! Side 2 starts off the same way (where the scratch of concern is located) and actually isn't too bad but then it did mistrack ONCE - just a little mistrack but the poor old stylus couldn't handle the groove (man) and did a very quick skip into the next groove. The remainder of Side 2 was then fine - one LOOOOOONG song about the sad eyed lady. If you are a Dylan "die hard" then you will find pleasure in this record, it's pretty listenable. For me, 32 minutes of Dylan's vocals was enough for one day.
New outer protective plastic sleeve
