SPECIAL NOTES REGARDING THE COVER
Back in 2015 we experienced a very bad storm, some vinyl was affected - this is one of them.
The cover was seriously affected by water/dampness to the opening edge of the cover. This has caused degrading to the colouring of the cover on the opening edge AND the gatefold stuck together. Careful separation was made and at least this cover remained intact although extensive graphic damage occurred to the inner pages near the opening edge - see the photographs, not pretty.
Parts of the track listing are now unreadable so I am including a full, printed track listing with this album

VINYL SPECIAL NOTES
Prior to inspection and playing these vinyl's, they have been give a very careful and thorough professional "wet wash"
Both vinyl were first visually inspected under a white halogen light source and are visually in very good condition, just a couple of light scratches across the four sides.
However just looking at the vinyl is not good enough, I then played all four sides.
Much better recording levels than Volume 1 and the surface noise, although present, is not of a significant concern.
Clicks/pops are NOT an issue, very occasional and short lived - at a low level
Side A until about half way through has slightly higher surface noise than the remainder of Side A and Side B is also of a lower surface noise level throughout.
Record #2 has seen more play time than Record #1 - love that Leroy Carr "Midnight Hour Blues" but to be truthful, love them all on Record 2 in particular! So this means there are more clicks/pops on Record #2 (not placing the tonearm in the right spot when selecting songs) but still a very good play
This album could benefit from further professional cleaning and/or restoration using good noise reduction hardware or software.
The play (overall) is very good
The content on both Volume I and II is very special but from a production, technical viewpoint, Volume II the superior product of the two volumes.
