Oh Dear! This item has been sold but take a look around for other similar items

This double album oozes nostalgia, back in the heady 1970's when Australia had their first Sunbury Festival, Australia Day weekend 1972

I made the trip to Australia from NZ just to be part of this experience, great music, great times and great women! These were the days of sexual freedom, long hair, tie dyed flared pants, paisley shirts and "funny cigarettes"

Australian ORIGINAL release BUT Made In New Zealand (as indicated on the record label)

This is not a later repress!

Havoc Records often had their releases pressed in New Zealand, reportedly because of the higher quality and heavier vinyl used than local Australian pressing plants.

Gatefold cover is in poor condition, very sad! Front opening edge tearing, black tape reinforcing the spine and seam splits too! This cover has seen considerable wear n tear over the years. I have always kept the cover in a separate plastic protective sleeve, to save what is left of it. The vinyl is in a separate protective sleeve - so the new owner will get two outer sleeves, one containing the cover and the other, the vinyl.

New inner plastic sleeves

From my point of view, this is the really IMPORTANT PART, the vinyl!

Both vinyl are in very good condition, visually inspected under a white halogen light source, I can see just a couple of very light scratches/marks on each of the four sides. These are very light ~ light and just a couple of them but just looking at the vinyl is often not good enough so I had great joy in playing the ENTIRE double album, playing every single track. Whilst there is low level surface noise during the quite periods (run-in and run-out areas), the sound is fantastic! No horrible click click click events, although there is a short series of clicks Record 2/Side 2 right at the run-in for a very short time while Billy is rousing up the audience. Truly this is a recording of great solid Australian live music from Sunbury.

Dig it Man!

New outer protective plastic sleeves (see above - one for the cover and another for the vinyls)

Tracks: C.C Rider, Be Bop A Lula, Momma, Rock Me Baby, Most People I Know Think That I'm Crazy, Time To Live, Jump Back, Ooh-Poo-Pa-Doo
