You don't hear much of Lulu's music these days but back in the late 1960's early 1970's she was a very successful artist. Scottish born lassie and married to Maurice Gibb (yes, The Bee Gees) for 4 short years.
This compilation is full of all her greats, bought back a lot of memories from my childhood listening to this one!
LULU - The Most Of
AXIS Records
Cat# AXIS 6011
Stereo recording
1971
Australian release
Cover is in good condition, no tears, no writing, no seam splits and only very light edge wear from normal handling BUT there is some light graphic damage in the area of Lulu's beautiful left shoulder (previous label removed poorly) and the remnants of sticky tape glue on the rear of the cover. The record label Side A has white out applied in a small area, obscuring the previous radio station ID
New inner plastic liner sleeve
Vinyl is in good condition, visually inspected under a white halogen light source, I can see NO marks or scratches on Side A and just a couple of extremely light hairline scratches on Side B. Just looking at the vinyl isn't a good way to judge the condition, so I then played the ENTIRE release, every track on both sides, and there are no issues with surface noise or click/pops - a really pleasant trip back into the mists of time!
New outer protective sleeve
TRACKS: Let's Pretend, I'm A Tiger, Love Loves To Love Love, You And I, To Sir With Love, March, The Boat That I Row, Boom Bang-A-Bang, Without Him, Me The Peaceful Heart, Boy, Dreary Days And Nights
