Never heard of Dame Kiri Te Kanawa?
New Zealand born singer who began her illustrious career entertaining in New Zealand before taking the big step of enrolling at the London Opera Centre to study under Vera Rózsa and James Robertson. Subsequent performances, of which there were many, were met with the audiences being left dazzled at her beautiful voice.
There is so much more to learn about Dame Kiri Te Kanawa's singing career (look HERE if you would like to know more) but this album is about her singing folk songs and ballads - BEAUTIFULLY!
Accompanied by members of the National Philharmonic Orchestra and Medici String Quartet, but it is Dame Kiri Te Kanawa who will enthral you with her soprano (the highest vocal register) voice on this album!

The vinyl is in good condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see just a couple of very light scratches on either side. Just looking at your vinyl is not good enough so I then played the ENTIRE album, every single track, and there are no significant issues with surface noise or click/pops.
New outer protective sleeve
