Gatefold cover is in good (minus) condition, the graphics are fine but the spine has suffered over time and now has tape (removeable) to stabilise the spine. Originally there were two inner liner sheets - these are NOT supplied, long since missing. Cover is clean, no tears, no seam damage other than a short section of the spine. Each label has the printing (twice) MARKETED BY WEA RECORDS LIMITED and the catalogue number is block printed on the rear of the cover, top right side.
No writing on the outside or inside of the cover but ...
The previous owner has written their details in these areas:
Record label Record 1 Side 1 & Record 2 Side 4
New inner plastic sleeves
Both vinyl media have been carefully inspected visually. Both are in good - very good condition, both records have very light/light scratches - just a couple and generally around the lead-in area. Both vinyl are reasonably clean.
I then played all four sides of these closeup and personal concerts (very wide dynamic range, from soft spoken voices as they chat with the audience to full on rocking!)
Record 1 - Side 1 plays nicely, just a little elevated surface noise at times and the very occasional click/pop
Record 1 - Side 2 for the most part is very similar to Side 1 EXCEPT track 1 has one medium level click just as the band is making an instrumental intro to the song
"Right Between The Eyes" - the remainder of the song is fine.
Record 2 - Side 1 plays nicely, no issues with this one at all
Record 2 - Side 2 plays without any significant issues - very good play
New outer protective plastic album sleeve
RECORD 1
Tracks: Suite: Judy Blue Eyes, On The Way Home, Teach Your Children, Triad, The Lee Shore, Chicago, Right Between The Eyes, Cowgirl In The Sand, Don't Let It Bring You Down, 49 Bye Byes/America's Children, Love The One You're With
RECORD 2
Tracks: Pre-Road Downs, Long Time Gone, Southern Man, Ohio, Carry On, Find The Cost Of Freedom
This album gives a great "feel" of C.S.N.Y playing live in the 1970's, it is not "sterile" such as is often the case with a studio release.
