An original Australian release, nipper on the cover and with the two HMV "By Appointment" to the late Majesty King George IV and his wife Queen Mary - although not dated, this establishes the release as being 1953
The recordings were actually made some years earlier, between the periods 1929 to 1941 - possibly delayed due to World War II and post war music releases were all about making people feel good once again after 6 long years of death and destruction.

10 inch vinyl microgroove, this is NOT a shellac
Cover is in good minus condition, a tear to the front cover and generally a bit dirty. The rear is in much better condition however note the Aussie printing, not aligned properly and the horizontal is sloping.
Vinyl is in very good condition, inspected under a white halogen light source. Some light scratches on each side....so both sides have been played.
Light surface noise but no significant issues at all - step back in time 60+ years!
