Early "flexible vinyl" media, an example of the media transitioning from shellac in the 1950's
Compilation of song from French artists:

Jean Sablon - Vocalist (Crooner)
Yvette Giraud - Vocalist
Luis Mariano - Vocalist (Tenor)
Marcel Azzola - Accordionist
Eliane Embrun - Vocalist
Adolphe Deprince - Accordionist
A Table In Montmartre - (Compilation instrumental with vocals)
HMV Records (Australia)
Cat# ODLP 1041
MONO recording
Australian release
1950's (Based on the catalogue number series (HMV ODLP) I would suggest this release to be from the mid to late 1950's)
Cover is in good condition, no tears, no seam splits but just a little "grubby" particulary the rear (white background) and a price has been written in blue biro pen (rear top left corner) 36/6 which I take to mean 36 Shillings 6 Pence ($4 in "new" currency) - this was BIG money back in the 1950's
New white paper inner sleeve
Vinyl is in good condition, visually inspected under a white halogen light source and I can see a couple of scratches on each side. I then played the ENTIRE record, surface noise is not a significant issue and clicks/pops only occurred a couple of times (low level)
