Woodstock Music Festival (1969) was the now legendary event, lousy toilets, lots of mud but heaps of great music and that special "grass" smell in the air!

This is a great record of the event, "lay back" and enjoy this wonderful documentary with performances by such greats as Richie Havens, Country Joe McDonald, John Sabastian, Sweetwater, Incredible String Band, Bert Sommer, Tim Hardin, Ravi Shankar, Melanie, Arlo Guthrie, Joan Baez, Quill, Keff Hartley Band, Santana, Canned Heat, Grateful Dead, Mountain, CCR, Sly & The Family Stone, Janis Joplin, The Who, Jefferson Airplane, Joe Cocker, Country Joe & The Fish, Ten Years After, The Band, Blood Sweat & Tears, Johnny Winter, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Paul Butterfield Band, Sha Na Na, Jimmy Hendrix with The Gypsy Sun & Rainbows Band

Bands of note that DECLINED to appear for various reasons were Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Byrds, Jethro Tull, Moody Blues, Spirit, Mind Garage

But this DVD is not just the music, lots of documentary video of the crowd comprising 400,000 people and what they got up to, what the conditions were like etc - its not just a music video DVD, its a documentary with music about this great event.
