Gatefold cardboard sleeve is in good (minus) condition, inner booklet is in very good condition. The spine has a small, short tear at the top and bottom. Tape has been applied externally to the spine to assist with strength.
SPECIAL NOTE: One of the worst packaging choices for a CD release are these gatefold card sleeves as (over time) the spine becomes damaged from the constant struggling of removing and inserting the CD! Often the package is only just the right size so that the CD is difficult to insert and extract, stressing the spine. Not great for the CD surface either!
To assist with this packaging design problem we created a custom made thick plastic sleeve which fits within the inside pocket, into which the CD can more easily be slid in and out.
CD media is in good condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see some light scratches or marks on the media, mainly due to the difficulty of removing the CD from the sleeve before we modified the CD pocket as mentioned above.
I then played this release ENTIRELY, every track, and there are NO issues with playback at all.
