Not a lot of bio information around about this talented band who didn't seem to get the 'breaks' to help them on their journey in the music industry, here are some things I have found out ...
Sydney based

Scott James Smith - Vocals (Savage Heart, Tooth)
Martin Carr - Bass (seems to have had a connection back to Timewarp Records, which is promoted on the rear inlay)
Geoff Marks - Electronic & Acoustic Slide guitar
Booz Byrnes - Vocals & Acoustic guitar (looks to have been also involved with Rendezvous & Ivie)
Syd Green - Drums, percussion & 12 string acoustic guitar (also appears to have been involved with Ivie)
GUILDING THE LILY - Self Titled
Self Release
Catalogue #: GTL01
1998
Australian release
CD case, front cover and rear inlay are all in very good condition
CD media is in very good condition, visually inspected under a bright White halogen light source and I can see NO marks or scratches on the media at all. I then played the ENTIRE release, every single track, and there were no issues with playback
TRACKS: Beer Song, Ever, Long For Me, Mother Mercy, Big Rats, Professional, Tea Rush, On My Own, Coming Home, All On You, L'il Lullaby
COMMENTS:
Track 3 is slow to start, meaning that the first 18 seconds is silence - just keep the player running!
Tracks 6 & 7 sound like live performances & track 11 (L'il Lullaby) is definitely an acoustic with a lot of fun
Now, at the end of track 11 (01:05) keep the player running .... for a long time .... at 09:23 is another musical creation (uncredited unnamed), totally out of character to the rest of the album. No vocals, all synth and in the trance genre and at times, extensive phasing used - bends the head a bit! This 'hidden' track finishes at 12:20 Accident? Who knows but it doesn't fit well with the rest of the album ... strange
