This album is all about the drums, the beat, the rhythm and Greg Sheehan's unique system known as 'Rhythm Diamonds'

CD jewel case, front cover and rear insert are all in very good condition
CD media is in very good condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see NO marks or scratches on the media at all. I then played the ENTIRE release, every single track, and there are no issues with playback at all
Now if you are not familiar with Greg's number patterns (see the CD face artwork) then here is a learning experience. In brief, the numbers represent musical rhythms and by changing the 'number phrases' different rhythms result. Confused? Read all about it in the front booklet, at his website or better still buy his book (if you can find a copy!)
Each track has a different 'groove' so I have added some notes about either where the title came from or some small info to help describe the music - I cannot find any audio file online which I can share with you, sorry. Many of the tracks are very tribal rhythm sounding e.g Cooks
TRACKS:
East - Number Rhythms, named after Greg's son East
Cooks - Cook Island drum song
Shed - 5 beat rhythm
Bring It - 4/4 rhythm
Coconut - 3/4 time, log drumming West Africa & Polynesia inspired
Train - Greg likes Trains
Pandanus - Named after the Pandanus tree
Jala - Natalie's little sister
Baka - Inspired by the Central African Baka people
HIDDEN TRACK ALERT!
Baka is Track 9, duration approximately 6:10 but then there is a track index mark (Track 10) and then silence, total silence for 3:30 and at 3:31 suddenly the track jumps to life (lots of hat, cymbals and drum kit) for approximately another 5:30 minutes before the CD goes silent and to sleep. I have no idea what the title of this track is, it is not indicated anywhere on the packaging - funny but the music reminds me a bit of Hare Krishna followers from the 1970's - has a sort of Indian feel to the music!
