Love traditional Didjeridoo playing? This double CD release will probably quench your thirst!
One BIG disappointment though, where are the credits!
There is NO credit given to the Didjeridoo and stick players nor any recognition of the peoples who contributed vocals - very sad!
Not even any mention of where the recordings were made and by whom. I am not so sure about the authenticity of these recordings, I believe there is some "looping" and at one point I heard some wah-wah/phasing thrown in for good measure!
I get the strong feeling this double album release was intended for the "tourist market" by a "budget label" who probably didn't pay anything substantial for the original source recordings - they also advertise similar types of CD products from Italy, France, Latin style and Greece.

MADE IN AUSTRALIA (Rear inlay)
2007
Australian release
Outer cardboard slip case, double CD jewel case, front 4 page booklet (with no mention of musicians etc) and rear inlay are all in very good condition.
SPECIAL NOTE: The cardboard slip cover is a DOG to remove! It has been made too tight and while you can fairly easily insert the jewel case into the slip case, removing it is a slow and painstaking process - terrible packaging manufacture!
Both CD media are in very good condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see NO scratches or marks on either media. I then played the ENTIRE release, both CD's and every track, and there are NO issues with playback at all.
TRACKS: Dawn Of Time, The Southern Cross, The Fire Cross, Wakala - The Stealer Of Fire, Mokoi - The Human Spirit, Makara - The Seven Sisters, Wyungare & The Avenging Fire, Junkgao - The Singer, Uluru Legends, Waratah Spirit, Kulpunya, Alinda-Moon Man, The Call Of Tukumbini, The Hunters Of Morowie, Wildu The Eagle
The video below is NOT from this album but I felt a Lewis Burns video was more appropriate for those who are interested in authentic Didjeridoo playing rhythms
