HISTORY:
This double CD release is exciting! Our sound engineer & DJ/producer loved all things 'new' and listened to a large amount of music that would be considered 'different' or experimental.
This release is exactly that, but it's not full of weird sounds but good strong beats, sampling and particularly on CD 2 hip hop beats - even though it's quite experimental, it is very listenable in it's own right and gives an insight into what others were creating with their music in the UK early 1990's!
It is very important you read the section in my description below about the CD media condition, it's NOT pristine but perfectly playable! My sound guy was an extremely creative person but no so hot on looking after his source discs (sometimes)
He loved these discs and played them at one time A LOT! I see now on discogs that many others want these discs too - after 25 years they are still highly sought after ...

Both CD card sleeves are in very good condition, no writing, no seam splits, no artwork damage. The original double plastic wallet is missing, these have been packaged into two separate heavy duty plastic sleeves for protection. These sleeves are a tight fit, OPEN WITH CARE!
Both CD media are in good (minus) condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see a couple of marks on CD 1 but many more on CD 2. Now some people get all anal about media marks, what matters is 'does it play without errors?'
For special releases (such as this one) I use my Tascam 601 broadcast player and monitor the datastream for excess errors. This is checking the actual datastream BEFORE it is converted into analog sound and is a system we had in place during our audio post production days when reading client provided DAT tapes, which are notorious for breaking into great long bursts of 'digital noise' when something has happened to the tape. This is a purely monitoring system and undertakes no correction of the datastream.
With all that said, I played both CD's ENTIRELY, every single track, and there are NO audible issues at all with either CD. At times I can see errors being thrown up on CD 2 in the datastream but these were not serious enough to show up in the audio at all.
