One of the most influential musicians of the 20th Century, John began his musical career as a conventional jazz musician but he then moved into modal jazz and free jazz movements with masterful improvisation techniques and he had supreme musicianship. His unique style of improvisation is clearly heard on this album, a bit manic in my opinion and for me, difficult to listen to for extended periods - be warned!
Musicians performing on this live recording
John Coltrane - Soprano Sax, Tenor Sax, Percussion
Pharoah Sanders - Tenor Sax, Piccolo, Percussion
Alice Coltrane - Piano
Jimmy Garrison - Bass
Rashied Ali - Drums
SPECIAL NOTE: Being a bootleg, the source recordings used were non-professional private tapes and its technical sound quality is not up to today's standards. I heard the recording go a bit strange a couple of times but only very short duration(s) and of no real concern.

CD case, front cover and rear insert are in very good condition
CD media is in very good condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see NO marks or scratches at all. Just to be sure I then played the ENTIRE release, every single track, and there are no issues with playback at all although I must say it is difficult for me personally to handle this much John Coltrane, VERY Avante-Garde!
