I strongly suspect this is a 'bootleg' release

Mastersound Systems (Japan) has previously released unofficial material, Fat Studio location is unknown although Discogs has a listing in Sweden but they appear 'legit' and nothing at all can be found out about DDD Recording

There is very scant information on the CD matrix codes - dodgy looking

Print quality doesn't look 'quite right' and the barcode on the inside front cover and rear is one of the smallest I have ever seen!

While the graphic artwork approximates some of the legitimate releases, there are major differences such as this tiny barcode (which isn't in the correct format) printed in 3 areas, not just the rear. The front cover is 4 page, the inside 2 pages have no graphics but all of the song lyrics.

CD face screen printing is very dodgy looking, a thin (not even distributed) Purple and no mention of the major labels BMG or RCA.

But some people do collect these unofficial or bootleg copies, particularly if there is something different about the music ... this release has the identical tracks to the legit releases BUT with an additional 3 tracks 'tacked on the end'

LOU BEGA - A Little Bit Of Mambo (probably Unofficial with extra Mambo No.5 mixes)

Mastersound Systems Inc - Fat Studio - DDD Recording

Cat# FS.1268-31

Matrix code (laser etched): FS-1268-31

NO other identification at all, including IFPI etc

1998 (?)

Country of release is unknown

CD case, front cover and rear inlay are all in good condition.

CD media is in good condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see just a couple of light scratches on the media. I then played the ENTIRE release, every track, and there are NO issues with playback at all.

The tracklist is identical to other releases of this album EXCEPT there are an additional 3 tracks containing mixes of Mambo No. 5

TRACKS: Mambo No. 5 (A Little Bit Of ...), Baby Keep Smiling, Lou's Café, Can I Tico Tico You, I Got A Girl, Tricky Tricky, Icecream, Beauty On The TV-Screen, 1+1=2, The Most Expensive Girl In The World, The Trumpet Part II, Behind Stage, Mambo Mambo, Mambo - Extended mix (5:14), Mambo - Havanna Clud* mix (5:48), Mambo - The Trumpet (6:01)

* This is exactly how it is printed, CLUD!
