Introducing the experimental, weird freaky sounds of Dave Noyze's lab!
Dave Noyze (Dave Burraston) is a serious music innovator and although born in UK, he is now based in Australia.
To find out more about Dave and his works, research ... go HERE make sure you have a look at the Buchla 200 under the Bio section!
Like so many innovative, independant artists, not only is the music very different but I also love the custom packaging they create for their product.
In this case Dave has used a BLACK (both sides) CDr as the media, then wrapped it in a customised package.

CD customised packaging is in very good condition. Dave has used a Black CDr (yes, black, these are very hard to find and some say they are more durable than standard CDr's) then this is inserted into a black plastic single CD clamshell case, this CD package is then inside a folded cardboard sleeve and finally the whole thing is inserted into an oversized clear plastic sleeve. Obviously this is a promotional release for industry use only, 50x "consumer" copies were each hand numbered by Dave.
CD is in very good condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and although it is tough to see marks/scratches on the black media, I cannot see any marks or scratches at all. Actually you cannot even see where it has been "burned". Because of this I double checked the hub codes (5343B1215 13) looking for any sign of an IFPI but there is nothing - this is not a pressed CD.
I then played the CD release ENTIRELY, every single track, and there are NO issues with any track although I must warn the listener about this music, it may take a while for your head to "reconstruct" as this is pretty freaky stuff!
Tracks: Bhang: An Open Lassie, Acorn, Bit Player, Lectomy Menkota Redux, Last Orders At Jock MacGnoshy's Inn, Dali Lamatron, Shaven & Smell/The Doors Of Reception, Pierre Deutsche Mark V, Unknowable Determinism In Music
