Another of my old NZ cassettes that I can't even find any references to online
The Pogues - Poguetry In Motion
Stiff - Festival Records (NZ)
Cat# C 14283
1986
New Zealand release
Black clam shell is in very good condition, this is a screwed clam shell so if ever there was a need to re-lubricate or change the pad, it is possible (if somewhat fiddly). Shell label is mono printed in red. Cover artwork/layout differs from any other release I have seen also.
Test cassette machine: Nakamichi DR8
Prior to testing, tape was repacked (FF - RW - FF - RW) to ensure even tape loading. This is vital for cassette tapes that have been unplayed for considerable periods of time.
Tape media is in very good visual condition, but the only real way to judge the condition of magnetic tape media is to actually play it, so I have played both sides of this tape.
Audio is full range with good high end and lows. No drop outs. No tape sticking or other transport issues which could indicate dried out lubricant. Head pad is in place and secure.
Terrific EP and great to hear The Pogues once again
Tracks: London Girl, A Rainy Night In Soho, The Body Of An American, Planxty Noel Hill
