Outer case and insert are in very good condition, no cracks etc but some light scuffs to the outer case
Sky Blue clam shell is in very good condition, this is a plastic screw type of clam shell so if ever there was a need to re-lubricate or change the pad, access inside the clamshell should be fine although those plastic screws are pretty tough to deal with.
Test cassette machine: Nakamichi DR8
Prior to testing, tape was repacked (FF - RW - FF - RW) to ensure even tape loading. This should always be done with compact cassettes that have been stored for a while, repacks the tape.
Tape media is in very good visual condition, head pad looks fine and is secure but the only real way to judge the condition of magnetic tape media is to actually play it, so I have played both sides of this tape ENTIRELY.
Audio is full range and bright, full high end and lows. Sounds great. No drop outs. No tape sticking or other transport issues which could indicate dried out lubricant.
NOTE:
This is the blue shell version WITHOUT the bonus track on Side B
Tracks: Blue Sky Mine, Stars Of Warburton, Bedlam Bridge, Forgotten Years, Mountains Of Burma, King Of The Mountain, River Runs Red, Shakers And Movers, One Country, Antarctica
