MEDIA WARNING - very slight tape twisting in one area which causes some effect to the tape audio (frequency response drops for a very short period on one track)
Even with this small issue, another great compilation of Australian music from EMI

Australian release
Cassette packaging is in very good condition, very small crack to the front section only. Inner card insert is in very good condition. No writing.
Test played on my Rotel RD-960BX machine
Tape media is very good - I have played this tape entirely, crisp clean sound and no problems at all.
Screw type shell - great if lubrication is required in the future as at least you have a fighting chance of getting inside the shell!
Before playing I repacked the tape, and played both sides entirely - no issues with the shell or tape at all, no significant "drop outs" or high frequency loss with the exception of the first track on Side 2 Evie (Edited version) by Stevie Wright, for the most part this plays fine but in a couple of short sections the frequency response alters (highs drop off) and then it comes right again. Looking at the tape I can see that at one time it has been twisted or perhaps jammed in another cassette player, damaging the tape media. I would have expected another track to have similar products (tape media issues such as this affect all 4 tracks, one song on one side of the tape and another song on the other side) but I didn't hear anything untoward - if anything, I would expect any issues to be apparent around the track Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again by The Angels (on the other side of the tape in the same area) Perhaps I missed it, but Stevie for sure had that small dropout problem. All of the other wonderful Australian tracks play fine, clean clear and turn it up!

I have always loved Zoot, particularly their cover of the song Eleanor Rigby (Beatles) with the very young Rick Springfield and the boys dressed in pink!
