An interesting release of classic early Stones music. All songs date between 1964 and 1969, Side B of the tape tends to have the later releases.
Rainbow Records (budget label) in conjunction with Decca
I believe this is a stereo release as the vinyl album released at the same time in NZ (RLP 499069) was a stereo release.
I also cannot pin down the release year but it looks to be 1980 - 1982 as Rainbow used a catalogue number just above this catalogue number in 1983
The Rolling Stones - Solid Rock
Decca - Rainbow Records

Australian release
Clamshell is in very good condition, this is a screw type clamshell so there is a chance of getting inside and properly re-lubricating (if this ever became necessary)
Clamshell is white. Clamshell has been thoroughly cleaned and there is no writing.
Clamshell label is a paper type.
There is no writing on the card insert or the clamshell
Card insert is in good condition (not damaged)
Case is in very good condition, clean and clear
Test cassette machine: Nakamichi DR8
Prior to testing, tape was repacked (FF - RW - FF - RW) to ensure even tape loading. This is vital for cassette tapes that have been unplayed for considerable periods of time.
Tape media is in very good visual condition.
Guides/rollers and front pressure pad all look to be fine.
The only real way to judge the condition of magnetic tape media is to actually play it, so I have played both sides of this tape ENTIRELY.
Audio is full range and bright all of the time, plenty of high end and lows. No drop outs. No tape sticking or other transport issues which could indicate dried out lubricant.
Tracks: Carol, Route 66, Fortune Teller, I Wanna Be Your Man, Poison Ivy, Not Fade Away, Satisfaction, Get Off Of My Cloud, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Connection, All Sold Out, Citadel, Parachute Woman, Live With Me, Honky Tonk Woman
A cassette must be played on a decent cassette playback machine for the listener to achieve the best possible audio result (a pro machine such as a Studer or Tascam or a Nakamichi - throw away your dodgy Sanyo!) this cassette sounds damn fine on the DR8
