Laura Jackson is a well known rock & roll biographer
Bono's (U2) well known as the frontman of the band but also this biography explores his very strong commitment to the environment and social justice.
Peppered with full colour photographs.
Absolutely unmarked (no names written in the book) and no rips, tears, or other physical damage damage BUT ...
Obvious "foxing" is present on the pages, particularly the front and rear areas.
As the inside front cover says "this book has been printed on paper manufactured with respect to the environment"
Foxing is where the paper stock reacts with the papers used in a book and the result is brown/yellow spotting which eventually leads to the whole page slowly changing to a yellow then a brown. This occurs because the paper is reacting with the air (oxygen) causing a "breakdown" of the paper.
Normally I would expect to see this with much older books but I am assuming that this "environmentally conscious" paper used has the down side of degrading much more rapidly than "standard" paper stocks.
With all that said, the foxing is not terrible (yet) but certainly noticeable
To try and maintain the present condition I have now placed the book within a sealed cellowrap package
