NEW Old stock
Ex my personal workshop spare parts, dating back to the 1980's I think and pretty tough to find these days ...
It is a circular 9 pin plug, the same outline as a 9 pin valve base. Solder cups and screw on rear with a large hole for cable entry.
These were used primarily for two purposes, multi-conductor equipment interconnections or we used to make up "valve socket extenders" so that various voltage readings could be made remotely from the equipment under test, removes the need to lay the equipment on it's side to access the base pins for voltage measurements.
Not included, but available separately, is a mating 9 pin line socket - take a look HERE
TOYA (JAPAN) is stamped into the rear screw on section of the body and on the rear of the front section, where the solder cups are located. Try as I might, I cannot find out any worthwhile current information about TOYA, they seem to have vanished in the world of connector manufacturers.
