HISTORY:
I wanted our daughter to "evaluate" this fandangled virtual reality technology and let me know, from a young persons perspective, what she thought of the headset.
Personally this type of thing holds no interest for me.
Well, after a couple of days the verdict was out .... BORING DAD!
While it works fine, the usefulness of this type of thing is the source material i.e 3D video online that is free. She found some but there is a limit to how often you can walk around a room and experience virtual reality - thus she rated this device poorly.
I am big on sustainability and am loath to put this equipment in the tip or even on the street footpath so it is being offered here, no item cost BUT of course the shipping needs to be paid for!
Actually that is not necessarily true ... because I have a system in place on my website where orders exceeding A$75 will get the option in the checkout of FREE SHIPPING anywhere in Australia, if this item was included in that order then the cost of this VR Headset is nil, nada zero ... zilch

HOW DOES IT WORK?
This headset is passive i.e there are no batteries, no wires at all
The front of the headset slides open and you insert your smartphone, facing you of course!
You then plong this headset onto your head (it has a medium weight of 340g without the phone inside)
Adjust the controls on the top for the correct picture from your smartphone screen
All is explained in the manual booklet supplied with the VR-X
Next you need to hunt around online for suitable 3D video material - apparently that's when the fun begins!
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NEW (Almost - worn a few times then put back in the box and never opened again)
CLEAN
NO damage of any kind the headset, controls, lens etc
To keep this in pristine condition, I have now sealed it in clear plastic waiting for a new owner who may appreciate these things more or just wish to have a "play around" with VR without spending any money!
