Charme was the trading name used for a series of souvenir teaspoons produced by Peninsula Plate. I am not sure but wouldn't be surprised if this company was closely associated with Perfection Plate Holdings, Sydney, a marketing and promotional badge manufacturer.

Charme/Perfection Plate produced a large number of souvenir teaspoons at this time, often with a small trinket dangling from the badge head

This teaspoon has stamped on the rear

The centre badge (plastic) on the head has a graphic of a Marlin fish, for which Bermagui is famous

The trinket dangling from the head is also of a Marlin

We no longer have this teaspoon on display and have placed it within sealed plastic to preserve the condition and reduce the speed of surface oxdisation
