Oh Dear! This item has been sold but take a look around for other similar items

THIS ITEM NEEDS REPAIR!

We used to provide heat press T shirt and mug services but no longer are involved in that business any longer.

The process of heat pressing basically involves transferring an image you have created (photographs, freehand etc) onto an object using a combination of heat and pressure.

This equipment is intended for use ONLY with ceramic mugs - not for glassware and the like.

Basically you put your image around the mug, place the two into the mug holder in the centre of the Genny 200 - set your temperature and time and pull the handle, that's it!

Always worked well and there is a good profit margin in this type of manufacturing.

Genny 200

Made by George Knight USA - not a chinese rip off (try getting those serviced)

Accurate electronics for repeatability - so if you are making a number of the same mugs, no need to keep adjusting the timing and temperature.

Designed for 220V operation but we used it fine here in Australia and it has a standard Australian plug fitted (just plug it into a standard wall socket)

Temperatures are indicated in Fahrenheit so you need to keep this in mind although its not a big issue if you just work in F all the time - range is 200 to 600!

The timer can be set from 30 seconds to 4 minutes

At the end of the timing period, it buzzes

We have the manual, which gives good details about suggested graphic printing (dye sub is best) and temperature/time settings but with these things, it is always a case of experimentation.

It is HEAVY - weighing in at almost 8Kg

Not too large, measuring:

42cm front to back

17cm wide

25cm high

COSMETIC CONDITION:

Wonderful, nothing is missing and it is ready to go once again in respect of the controls.

TESTING - THE FAULT:

After quite a bit of use, just before we ceased our business operations, the unit failed.

Plug it into the wall, pull the handle and our earth leakage detector trips - meaning there is most likely a fault with the heating element.
This will need to be replaced more than likely.

The unit has not been opened up (I am a technician but could see no point in pursuing this fault any further)

This is NOT an end user repair, whoever tackles this fault needs to be a licensed electrician or at the very least, know what they are doing! Playing around with 240V is dangerous.

Originally this set us back around A$400 from memory but we got our investment back very fast (we printed rock band photos on the mugs)

Condition exactly as described Non-returnable used product
