Strobe lights have been known to cause flicker vertigo, a condition in which disorientation, nausea, rapid blinking, rapid eye movement, and muscle rigidity are known symptoms. In some cases, strobe lighting can also promote epileptic seizures.
Be aware of the dangers and do not use for excessively long periods of time.
Bright white strobed light, used in a darkened area, creates the effect of 'stop motion' where the people illuminated by the strobe light appear to be moving in jagged 'snap shots' not a flowing motion.
This strobe light is NOT powerful, it will be fine for a small area such as the lounge or out in the garage but do not expect it to flood a large backyard area with bright white light - it is not designed with that purpose in mind.
The strobe effect is only really effective when the ambient light is very low (complete darkness or close to it), if you use it in a fully lit room then the effect is pretty unspectacular!

Used only a couple of times in the past, used it tonight and it runs perfectly and silently (Ok, there is a very low level click click click as the Xenon flash tube fires, this produces the intense white light)
