Hopefully someone other than myself shares a passion for OLD clocks, the wind up type (clockwork)
A long time ago I collected mechanical clocks, fascinated with all those gears and cogs! Nothing fancy, just some early 20th Century mantle clocks such as the Ansonia's from USA and I needed a book to learn how they work and how to properly maintain and if need be, service them.
I bought this book new in 1972 and found it extremely useful, at a beginners level anyway.
My collection of clocks have long since found a new home, the only remanents of my clock days are a nice 'looking' Grandfather clock but alas, it is a 'fake' with electronic control of the movement. There is a key but it only winds the springs for those lovely chimes.
On with the book I am seeking a new owner for ....

Paper remains White without spotting or foxing (where paper changes from White to a Brownish colour due to reactions with the environment)
NO personal writing nor are there any "working notes"
I have always kept this book in a little plastic packet, this is the reason the pages look so good
Spine (glued) is secure and not falling apart
I have now placed the book back into a sealed clear plastic packet, waiting for another clock enthusiast to make use of it ...
