Sustainability is the name of the game! Anything (that has been tested and still functioning properly) should be repurposed creating saving in wasted Ee and reducing the poisoning our environment when items are buried in the earth at the local tip needlessly.
Never heard of Ee? It is a concept that creates a measurement of ALL things (not just electronics) that humans have made and the energy used in obtaining the raw material, processing the materials right through to a finished product and even should include the shipping of the item to the distributors/retailers.

NEW but inserted into PCB's in preproduction
These resistors have never seen a uA of current pass through them!
BRIEF HISTORY:
Beyschlag was a well known German manufacturer of high quality passive components born as a "spin off" from the very respected behemoth, Philips Electronics. As happens often in the business world, Beyschlag was "swallowed up" into the empire of Vishay around 2002.
I have used the Vishay name in the title because they are now the manufacturer/distributor of these components but make no mistake, these are actually pre-Vishay components from the original company Beyschlag, purchased in the very early 2000's

COSMETIC CONDITION:
'Like NEW' is the best way to put it!
Since the closing down of our electronics production facilities, I found a number of 'pre-production' sub-assemblies with useful components that had never been used. These precision German resistors were on some power supply sub-modules and the easiest way to remove them was to cut the leads!
I have batch tested around half of these, just to be sure nothing was amiss and the measured DC resistance is in the band 149.5 ~ 150.2 Ohm across the tested resistors (18)
These all have nice clean shiny leads which are 9mm in length each side
Since removal, these resistors are now kept in sealed clear plastic packets
