HISTORY:
Yet another "gem" that I have plucked from the "Mists Of Time" ...
Let's go back, way back in time ...
The scene is the family "sitting room", radiogram in the corner. Most likely there was no television or at best, a peculiar looking Black & White box standing up on four legs trying to look like a piece of furniture. But the focus of the family was the radiogram, usually sitting against one of the walls, the entertainment centre.
No smartphones, in fact no mobile phones at all. Most people had a wired landline telephone with a rotary dial.
Father sits in "his" chair, pipe hanging from his mouth (yes, the dangers of direct and passive smoking were not widely recognised in those days, in fact smoking was considered quite prestigous and "high class" - remember all the motion picture actors/actresses who smoked on screen - a lot!
The kids (Mother is out in the kitchen, as always) sit on the sofa, patiently waiting for Father.
Eventually father gets out of his chair and places the incredibly high technology disc of plastic onto the radiogram turntable, twiddles the knobs, pushes a button and the entertainment begins .... story time for the children!
Principal credited voice actor on this Walt Disney recording is Sterling Holloway (American actor and voice actor)

USA release
This is a large format (12 inch LP size) book and record set.
The gatefold cover is in good condition. This means there is no personal writing, it is clean and largely unmarked both on the front/rear and inside. The internal storybook (stapled, non-removeable) is also clean, nice "old fashioned" printed pictures with some text on each of the 11 pages. Father has not permitted the children to write or scribble on the pages - they are all unmarked. The record is inserted inside, sideways, and yes Father has at some stage overstressed the opening so a small seam tear has occurred (lower section). This tear is only visible on the front cover and since this accident occurred, it has been carefully wide taped to stabilise the tear.
New inner plastic liner sleeve
Vinyl record is in good condition, visually inspected under a bright White halogen light source and I can see a few light ~ medium scratches or marks on either side. Just looking at the vinyl is not a great way to judge the condition so I then played the album ENTIRELY, every single track on each side, there are no issues with surface noise nor clicks/pops at all - sure, there was the very occasional click or pop but nothing dramatic and I did notice that the first minute or so of Side B had a slightly increased surface noise level but not overly dramatic ... certainly I was impressed how it played after 50+ years since it's creation.
New outer protective sleeve
