OLD used stock but this ex-workshop lead is in very good condition
I am cleaning up ALL the various leads, patch cables etc that we had on hand hanging in the audio workshop area. Each lead is advertised separately and I have attempted to provide as much information as possible about each lead.
ALL have been professionally assembled, using high quality components, no point in testing pro audio gear with dodgy leads!
Here is one of those leads ...
XLR AUDIO LEAD
XLR Male to XLR Female
Wired for conventional XLR balanced audio use
SWITCHCRAFT made the nice solid male connector and at the other end of the lead, it's a CANNON female connector
Unidentified cable, I could not see any identification on the entire length. Nice "feel" though and 6.50mm OD
Both of the XLR connectors use nice rubber entry boots
I assume (it's tough to get inside the female connector) the female XLR pins are Nickel plated, but I have established that the Switchcraft male pins are definitely Silver plated (Black oxide test)
Professionally terminated at each end
Lead length: 2.5 metres
Connections checked, hot/cold/shield are directly wired as a standard XLR lead with no strapping between pins - I had to check this as we used to have "other" XLR leads with different wiring in the workshops e.g AES/EBU 110 Ohm leads
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Sheath inspected carefully, no nicks or other damage
Nice "feeling" cable sheath!
Both connectors are in very good condition, hard to clean the female pins (I just gave them a squirt of cleaner) and the male pins are clean & shiny.
Now that my inspection is complete, it has been packed into a sealed plastic packet ready to do some audio work once again!
