HISTORY:
Tara Systems (Australia) were a major supplier of this equipment in the 80's & 90's and these units were in use by many State Emergency Organisations, including Police. Of course the 2020 etc would not be in use these days, particularly with the transition to digital communications technology. These analog interface systems were based on DTMF control tones with extensive use of the nice NE567 PLL device(s). However, "perhaps" someone still has a 2020 analog radio~landline interface system and are in need of this most important component - the keypad user interface PCB. If this keypad stops working correctly (all these types of keypad will fail - eventually) then you cannot program the system or control the interface, make calls etc

Complete, fully operational, Keypad PCB
Sits behind the steel front panel of the T2020
Part # T2K-KEY-D
This board is NEW but obviously old spare parts stock.
If someone didn't want to use this in a TARA system, it could be easily adapted for a customised project. There are no active devices on the board, almost all of the keys are addressed in a standard X-Y fashion and taken directly out to the Gold plated DIP header. The AUX key is not part of this matrix and both sides of the switch are present at the same DIP header. The three 3mm coloured LED's are also taken out to pins on the header.
This PCB has now been stored within sealed plastic pack, waiting to bring a T2020 back to life (It's alive! It's alive! - I have been watching too many Frankenstein movies ...)
