HISTORY:
Used in our business quite a few years ago, this PDA dates from around 2003~2004 and once it's usefulness had ended (we went to small laptops) this PDA was put in the storeroom.
I am unable to confirm the working condition of this PDA as I have not yet found the dock or AC charger ... the battery (original) is supplied but it is completely uncharged.
This equipment SHOULD be working fine but there are no guarantees!
If I should happen to find the dock/AC power supply then this will be included with the items in this advertisement but don't hold your breath! I have hunted through 10 boxes so far and not found it ... yet
Please look at the photographs and READ the description below to get an idea of what I am offering - I also made a very simple test but it didn't really tell me much, read the TESTING section below.

TESTING:
I hunted around and cannot locate the dock from which to charge the battery. I have confirmed the battery is 'dead', not surprising after 10 plus years in the box! I did try and get some life out of the PDA by using another fully charged 3.7V battery (not designed for this device) and connecting this to the correct terminals on the rear of the PDA. The screen lit up, Orange led is ON but then it shuts down almost immediately. No response when pushing the ON-OFF button. I suspect the PDA is not 'seeing' the correct voltages from the battery compartment. There are 5 'fingers' for the battery contacts but I was only using 2, being + & - (3.7V) I cannot find out the purpose of the remaining 3 contacts and left them alone. I believe the PDA is 'looking' for a signal of some sort via those 3 terminals and this is why the PDA shut down. I checked the current drawn from my external test battery and there is no problem there (no excessive currents being drawn). I have seen this before with these special batteries, if they don't see ALL of the correct signals then nothing works properly.
In summary, my 'testing' didn't really help me out at all in establishing the workability of this PDA. In fact the only thing I established was that the LCD backlight works!
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
CLEAN
NO physical damage to any component offered
LCD screen is not scratched or cracked!
As you would expect from 'office equipment' that was only used by our travelling technical staff, this PDA has been well looked after and not "thrown around"
While somewhat dated in the world of IT, this may still be useful to someone as an example of IT equipment from the viewpoint of it's historical value. These were considered pretty damn good back in their day and loads of connectivity options (WiFi, Bluetooh, Infrared, Serial data) which was pretty unusual back in the early 2000's.
I have now packed it all back together and sealed in clear plastic packets to maintain the condition while it waits for a new home to live in ...
