Cover is in good (minus) condition, no tears, no seam splits, clean HOWEVER I have downgraded my evaluation of the cover due to someone previously writing a personal note on the rear top left-hand corner which now looks a little unsightly. Other than that, the cover is actually in pretty good shape for being 50+ years old card. But unfortunately it doesn't end there ... on each side of the record label has also been some personal writing, this has now been obscured with White Out.
New inner plastic sleeve
Vinyl is in good (minus) condition, visually inspected under a bright White halogen light source and I can see only a few very light to light scratches or marks. I then played the album ENTIRELY and surface noise is, overall, not a significant issue with it being only apparent (at low levels) in the intertrack spaces between tracks, EXCEPT perhaps the most popular track, the opener on Side 1 "Bridge Over Troubled Water" - this does have a more noticeable level of background surface noise. Cleaned Side 1 track 1 a number of times but I have been unable to make this track play "noiseless"
Overall, a nice CLASSIC album from my youthful days (this was SUCH A POPULAR ALBUM back in those days)
