HISTORY:
My "world" is 'the arts' and more specifically, music, artwork and hand crafted/decorated chinaware's.
I am not a film enthusiast but an associate has asked me to find new owners for THEIR large collection of photographic and film items ... this is one of those items.
While the world of 8mm/Super 8mm is not my area of expertise, I am doing my best to establish the condition of each item that I am listing.
I tend to be quite detailed in my item descriptions, please READ all the details to decide if this item may interest you.
Now, on with the description ...

TESTING:
Test projector is the ELMO 1200 that I have on hand at the moment.
All film looks to be clean and in good condition, sprocket holes are not damaged EXCEPT on reel #1! While feeding into the projector, the leader film section came away from the film .... I think the splice "gave way" but I continued on with the test on reel #1 without the leader. Nothing lost really as the film 'proper' doesn't begin for quite some time, there is a quite lengthy 'lead-in' section (small aircraft landing, good guys and bad guys trying to kill each other ... ) and THEN the program title, credits etc begin
I have retained the section of film that came away, it is wound on the reel.
Reel 2 & 3 do NOT have this leader film issue
I only ran the film for the first three minutes of each reel observing the picture and sound.
Picture definition is fine (Red/Pink/Sephia colouring with some 'hints' of Greens) with no scratching or degradation noticed
Sound is good, crisp and easy to understand dialogue and background music, not muffled.
In my opinion, after these relatively brief tests I am happy that the film is in pretty good condition both technically and physically.
I am very fastidious and careful with these films and I have now packed the complete box set within a clear, sealed plastic packaging - waiting for a new owner.
