Wow! what a find in my boxes of memorabilia ....
I have been asked to focus on anything to do with Dame Olivia Newton-John, after her sad passing.
I was sorting through tons of Dame Olivia Newton-John related singles and albums from our audio post production library, and this very hard to find Grease Poster Magazine fell into my hands!
If memorabilia doesn't 'tick your boxes' then perhaps the GREASE soundtrack album may be of interest instead, look HERE

COMMENTS:
Being an American publication, the focus is definitely on the "new up-and-coming" film star John Travolta but there is plenty of write up about Dame Olivia and some wonderful photographs of her in her 30's. At this time Dame Olivia's success was in the music industry although she did act in a UK film back in 1969, titled TOOMORROW but it was an absolute shocker. Like John, Dame Olivia was a new comer to the film industry but together they made GREASE one of the biggest selling films of all time.
I particularly had a chuckle at the promotional blurb on the back page of this poster magazine, you could order items such as GREASE Satin Pillows, GREASE Disco Discs (Frizzbee), GREASE pen sets, GREASE paperweights, GREASE note and envelope holders, GREASE desk sets, GREASE pillow and pen sets, GREASE book cover and pen sets, GREASE Tote bags - the marketing push was in full swing!
CONDITION:
This publication is in very good condition, actually I was amazed at the condition!
I have seen this type of magazine fall apart over the years, particularly the seams between pages but this poster magazine has just one short seam tear and nothing more.
Light corner curling too but in my opinion (average joe-blow, not a collector) this is not serious
The only writing on the poster magazine is the front page, top left hand side 'APR' in what looks to be pencii
Pages are not discoloured and damaged in any way
I very carefully opened up the magazine to reveal the LARGE poster of John and Dame Olivia - the colours are still vibrant and fresh looking
No signs of paper 'foxing'
Since this is now going to another home, I have sealed it within cellowrap (not normal plastic which can leech marks onto delicate paper) and placed it on a very stiff backing cardboard
