HISTORY:
My "world" is 'the arts' and more specifically, music, artwork and hand crafted/decorated chinaware's.
I am not a film enthusiast but an associate has asked me to find new owners for THEIR large collection of photographic and film items ... this is one of those items.
While the world of 8mm/Super 8mm is not my area of expertise, I am learning fast! and my training in electronics helps too!
This projection lamp is used in the ELMO ST1200D projector HERE and others
OSRAM - Film Projector lamp
Made in Germany
Circa 1980's
Type: Halogen XENOPHOT
Part # HLX 64634 EFR
15V 150W
NEW in the original box, sitting inside the very nice protective plastic shield.
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Packaging is all very clean (some even have the old price stickers on them, $40 each!)
I have opened the box to check the contents, but NOT touched the lamp! I did this because I noticed one lamp (actually a Sylvania not Osram) had a white powder all over the pins, in fact the insulation compound at the rear (where the pins come out) had started to fall apart! Maybe it was a batch of bad Sylvania's, one of my test projector lamps failed too - that was a Sylvania which I have now replaced with an Osram)
I have checked every remaining OSRAM lamp and made sure the base is secure and the pins are shiny and clean.
Remember that when handling these lamps, ALWAYS use cotton gloves or at the very minimum, a cloth - you do not want to get oil from your skin onto the lamp or reflector.
To maintain the current condition of this lamp, I have now sealed the packaging within clear plastic.
As these are all the OSRAM 15V 150W lamps I have been provided with, there will NOT be any ongoing supply once these have been sold
