HISTORY:
My "world" is 'the arts' and more specifically, music, artwork and hand crafted/decorated chinaware's.
I am not a film enthusiast but an associate has asked me to find new owners for THEIR large collection of photographic and film items ... this is one of those items.
While the world of film or the motion picture industry is not my area of expertise, I am doing my best to establish the condition of each item that I am listing.
Strictly speaking these were canisters for new 16mm film stock but once the film has been used, the owner was left with all these empty metal containers.
Useful for 8mm/Super 8mm/16mm film reel storage OR just for that "museum piece" from a bygone era!

Originally housed #8527 16mm negative film NOW EMPTY! (NO REEL NO FILM)
Suits use with Standard 8mm, Super 8 or 16mm reels (400 Feet maximum/7")
Material: Tin (it is definitely ferrous, magnetic test checked)

Just the slightest signs of useage or storage
Being made of Tin, I especially checked for signs of rust - there are none.
Canister(s) are ALL sound, with no dramatic physical damage
Both sections (top & bottom) fit nice and tightly on all canisters
NO personal markings or writing on any of the canisters available
To preserve the condition of each canister, I have placed them individually within a strong clear plastic protective package which is now sealed (air-tight)
