HISTORY:
My "world" is 'the arts' and more specifically, music, artwork and hand crafted/decorated chinaware's.
I am not a film enthusiast but an associate has asked me to find new owners for THEIR large collection of photographic and film related items ... this is another of those items - plenty more to come when I get the time (old commercial film stock, old to very old vintage cases, splicing film, more projectors and so much more ...)
While the world of 8mm/Super 8mm or 16mm is not my area of expertise, I am learning fast!
So here we go with some details ...

Kodak "Presstape" technology
Circa late 1980's ~ 90's
NO power requirements, manually operated equipment
Film formats: Super 8, Standard 8 or 16mm
NO "Presstape's" are supplied (yes, the Presstape packets are showing in the photograph for 8mm & Super 8 but those packs are empty)
I can see various online sites offering spare Presstape packs so these packs should not be too difficult to source
NO user manual in the box - these Universal Splicers appear to be pretty easy to use - see the videos I have included
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED (Very little though)
CLEAN
Even has the original cardboard packing insert
Original Presstape packets included but they are ALL empty (used)
So clean!
Just the slightest of wear n tear to the outer original box from normal handling
I have now sealed this Universal Splicer into a clear plastic packet for protection, awaiting the trip to it's new "film buff" owner
