This equipment is part of the old monitoring equipment that I am now disposing of...
Analog Composite Video Signal Controller
Unbranded on the case or inside however this was an Intellisense supplied product
Most likely China origin
Dates from around the 1980's
All discrete control electronics
Single video input (BNC)
Single video output (BNC)
AC 240V power input via an IEC lead (supplied if required)
Dimensions: 220mm wide x 230mm deep x 50mm high
Unfortunately I have NO technical information about the bandwidth, gain range and at which frequencies the HF gain comes into play
FUNCTION:
These boxes are really useful if you are using analog composite video and need to the adjust/tweek the video source signal
Suits Mono or Colour
GAIN - this pulls up an otherwise noisy or grainy video signal, if due to very low signal levels
HF GAIN - this can be useful to counteract any possible loss of high frequencies, providing a "top end" lift to the video signal - the result can be an improvement in video sharpness.
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Excellent condition - all steel case
Minor scratching to the top of the case
TESTING:
I ran source composite video through this box and checked that both gain controls were working - all is good.
No issues with this equipment at all
