HISTORY OF THIS DOCKING STATION
My professional and private background is all about electronics, audio and 'The Arts' but NOT really photography or consumer video! My photographs on this website will atest to that (I do the best I can with my limited equipment!)
Over the years, I have gathered together a bunch of strange camera's and accessories (some are odd looking) and they have been sitting in a large plastic container under the house, with the lid on of course.
I am big on sustainability and I am hoping very much that someone else may find a use for the equipment described below.
I seriously doubt anyone is actually using this equipment these days but it does seem that a lot of people collect this old photographic and video equipment.
I am seeking someone who may find a use for this camera accessory
I am not an expert on this equipment but I do like to describe anything I offer as best I can, PLEASE read the description below to read about my comments on this item, whether it works (if I can test it) and my overall impression of the gear.
In all cases, this item is offered as a second hand item in 'as-is' condition, I will not entertain 'returns' or 'change of mind' but I have kept my asking price (just for my time typing this advertisement up really) to be very reasonable.
For those wondering, my old film based camera's have all found new homes.
I have only a couple of little compact cameras (if still available, search my other advertisements for them) and a bunch of very early handycam/video cameras along with a pile of battery chargers and even some old batteries if someone wants them for their 'museum'
PLEASE read the description below completely and decide if this item may be of interest to you.

TESTING:
Here I have struck a 'brick wall' as I have not been able to find a suitable SONY power supply for this equipment AND I don't have any of the video cameras that this Handy Station is designed for.
Afraid it will be a bit of 'pot luck' but the people who gave me all this gear (some Broadcast associates who also didn't know what to do with all the consumer gear) reckoned they were working fine, just not 'their cuppa tea'
So, in summary, this quite old Handycam Station 'looks' fine but is offered completely untested.
Since checking out this item I have now sealed it in plastic, to at least keep it in good condition, ready for it's new owner!
