COMPONENT TESTER
By using the component tester, it is possible to display the characteristic curves of many components, both passive and semi's - resistors, caps, inductors, silicon & germanium diodes, zeners, tunnel diodes, schottky diodes, general si transistors, Jfets, Mosfets, UJT's, SCR's, Triacs etc
To use this feature, the user needs to be able to correctly interpret the trace displays
So this "scope" is much more than that - it is really a number of very useful instruments packed into one very nice package
Beautifully designed modular system, very easy to work on should service ever be required in the future
Nice clean internal construction and I have been informed that this instrument was also OEM'd to a well known European instrument supplier - testament to the quality of this unit.
COSMETIC CONDITION:
The equipment is "as new" - it has just been sitting in the original shipping cartons since new (new old stock) Not a mark on the casing and pristine front panel/display

Supplied with the original user manual which is extremely detailed, even going through the basics of scope operation and display interpretation. Not only for the scope but also the other modules as well.
The rear of the manual includes block diagrams, module circuit diagrams with part numbers clearly shown. If ever service was required, MOST of the circuitry uses stock standard devices such as BC series transistors, LS logic - easy to find spare parts and easy to work on boards.
It even includes the warranty card!
